Adventuring into the Sunscar Canyon (v68)
[2026-02-18]
New Content, Features & Improvements
-
A mysterious new island has emerged off the coast, illuminated by a massive beacon visible from afar. The Isle
of the Fallen Stone is home to enemies ranging from levels 110 to 117, and at its heart lies a mysterious
dungeon filled with secrets, hidden treasures, and dangers awaiting those brave enough to explore its depths!
-
A brand-new zone is now accessible from Ashford Port. The Sunscar Canyon stretches beneath towering canyon walls
and introduces a new town, fresh characters, and challenging enemy encounters designed for players between
levels 120 and 127.
-
Hog's Labyrinth: A wild pigsty is looking to hire you as an explorer in this new quest that will guide you
toward the Sunscar Canyon!
-
Tutorial Improvements: The tutorial has been reworked to be easier to follow and to better guide new players
through their first steps in Eterspire.
-
Quest rewards now grant experience based on the level the quest is intended for, instead of scaling indefinitely
with your character’s level.
Performance Improvements
-
We’ve been working closely with Unity to improve performance across the game. This patch includes the first wave
of optimizations, with more coming soon.
-
Maps now load significantly faster when transitioning between areas.
-
Overall performance should feel smoother, especially when fullscreen menus are open.
-
On mobile, the game now defaults to a 30 FPS cap to help prevent your phone from overheating and your battery
from draining too quickly. You can change this in the Graphical Settings if you prefer.
-
We've added a Player Visibility setting to the Graphical Settings menu:
-
This new setting allows you to limit how many other players are rendered on your screen at once.
Additional
players beyond that limit will appear as light orbs instead.
-
This feature is designed to significantly improve performance on lower-end devices, especially in
crowded areas
where rendering many characters at once can cause slowdowns.
-
On mobile, this setting defaults to displaying 5 players. It can be customized at any time in the
Graphical
Settings menu.
Eterspire Store
-
The Lunar Celebration cosmetic set is now available, featuring limited-time Lunar New Year cosmetics, including
multiple cosmetic gear sets, several cosmetic weapons, and zodiac capes! Check the Eterspire Store for more
information.
Bugfixes
-
Fixed several map details that players could walk through.
-
Various other minor bug fixes.
Known Bugs
-
For Inbuxia to re-spawn, you'll have to leave the map and enter again.
We’ll be fixing this in the coming days.
Behind the Scenes
-
We’re continuing the overhaul of regular mobs. Upcoming changes will introduce dodgeable attack patterns, more
ranged enemies, and heavier use of status effects to make combat more dynamic and engaging. More details coming
soon!
