New Content, Features & Improvements

• A new combat mechanic! Certain mobs can now become Enraged upon gaining aggro. Enraged mobs grow in size, gain boosted stats and durability, deal more damage, and launch dodgeable AoE attacks. Defeating them grants increased drop chances and bonus EXP compared to regular mobs!
• The Sunscar Canyon area has expanded with 4 new maps: Canyon Basin, Sunny Summit, Sunfall Cave, and Redscar Canyon. These are excellent new grinding areas for players between levels 130 and 160, featuring new mobs, hidden chests, and more!
• A New Quest: "Ashford, North Sunscar". Help Nora gather materials for her new armor shop and convince a retired blacksmith to return to the forge!
• A new Remnant has appeared on the Sunny Summit: the level 160 Canyon Golem. This powerful behemoth can drop the new cosmetic Canyon weapons for those strong enough to defeat it.
• Map loading screens have a new look and now display the map’s load percentage.

Performance Improvements

Creative Director Lartu has insisted that we begin this section of the patch notes by mentioning that "Eterspire no longer runs like crap!"

"We know the game has had issues in the past, and we have been working tirelessly to address them by seriously optimizing how the game runs on mobile devices, especially lower-end ones. It now runs much more smoothly, with a more consistent frame rate, fewer hiccups, significantly faster map loading, and reduced battery consumption, while heating up your phone less than ever before. This update delivers the biggest performance boost the game has ever received, and we are thrilled about it! We will keep making it run even better, but compared to before, this is day and night!"

Eterspire Store

This Wednesday, March 4th, will be the final day of the current 50 crystals per box discount period. It was supposed to run for the holiday period and we extended it a bit more so it was around for the limited-time sets, but it will be over soon.

We may run new discount periods in the future, and we are also working on reintroducing regional pricing quite soon! Stay tuned!

Bugfixes

• Fixed a bug that caused players and mob overhead names to not display correctly in some cases.
• Fixed Inbuxia’s respawn. It should now respawn correctly like other remnants.
• Fixed a bug that caused several issues with the CRT filter. The filter now works as intended!
• Fixed a bug that caused other players’ pets to still appear when the player was turned into a light orb by the player visibility setting.
• Fixed a bug that prevented Steam players from setting a recovery email address.

Behind the Scenes

• Our content team is currently developing an expansion to the New Rautala area, giving players the chance to venture deeper into the dwarven mines and uncover their abandoned corridors and hidden passageways. Here’s a first look at some of the initial concept art!

• Our Lunar New Year Art Contest has officially concluded! We were blown away by the incredible pieces created by the talented artists in our community. Your creativity made this one of our most inspiring events yet!

This will allow us to feature everything in a standalone news post-alongside our soon-to-be-announced Content Creator Program!
