Introducing the Bogtown Marsh! This new area is the home of the goblins, and it contains some of our most visually ambitious and distinctive maps to date! Explore 4 new maps: The Murkwater Puddles, The Piranha River, The Hibiscus Manglar, and the titular Bogtown, where you’ll find new goblin friends and even some familiar faces!
New Quest: "Marshing to the Swamp". Help Mellowknees, the goblin shroom collector, make his way back to Bogtown to complete a delivery. You can begin this quest in the Murky Forest at level 39.
New Quest: "Unfinished Chores". The Triplets need help finishing their chores before their mom kicks them out. Meet them at the Piranha River to begin this level 47 quest.
New Quest: "Chromatic Anomaly". Join Damien Garrow, a scientist studying Speckling variants and their unusual colors, as he investigates a strange new phenomenon. Talk to him at the Firefly Grove at level 23 to start this one.
The login menu has been updated to feature the beautiful sights of Bogtown! Other menus and screens have been upgraded somewhat as well.
You can now exchange Unlucky Coins to get 2 new Familiars by talking with the Unlucky Cultist at Bouli-Bouli Cave.
Skill targeting has been improved to make combat feel more natural. When casting a skill, the game now prioritizes the enemy your camera is aimed at instead of automatically targeting the closest one. On PC, camera direction is also utilized more consistently and now takes priority over movement commands, making combat controls feel smoother and more responsive.
This is mostly for you, Electric Orb-using Sorcerers!
Item drop animations now have different colors depending on the item’s rarity. They’re also now grouped when receiving multiple identical items, reducing unnecessary pop-up animations.
The website version of our patch notes can now be read directly from the login and character selection screens. So, if you're reading this from inside the game: hi, you will receive the full patch notes from now on!
macOS Steam Launch!
With this update, Eterspire is now available on Steam for macOS.
Players on a Mac can now also access Eterspire through Steam and enjoy full crossplay with iOS, Android, and Windows PC.

Fixed an issue that prevented you from walking in certain walkable parts of the Spiderling Tunnels

Multiple other small bugfixes.
Behind the Scenes
We recently published a new dev blog entry where we talk in detail about what’s been happening behind the scenes at Eterspire, including our current development priorities, the status of upcoming features, and what’s next for future updates. You can read the full post on our Developer Blog!
53 accounts have been banned for using modded or unofficial clients, which is against the Eterspire Rules.
Community
Our community event Unlucky Uprising has ended, and a new contest will be live later this week. You can check out our official Discord server for more info. Rewards will be given out to all participants (as always!) so there's no reason not to take part!
Expected more from Manu? He has delivered! He streamed again leveling up his new character, Manoob. You can watch the VOD here!
The new wiki design is now live (and it's also the reason why these Community Patch Notes are so short, oops!) You can check it out here. This is not a completely final look, we'll continue improving upon and working on new features whenever possible!
That's it!
Thank you for reading, we hope you enjoy this update very much!
The next Eterspire update will be on May 14th, according to our Release Schedule.
Remember that Eterspire updates release on the 14th and 28th, unless that day falls on a Friday, holiday, or
weekend, in which case it will be released on the next business day.
