This is a bit of a strange update, as we're releasing it outside our regular update schedule. We weren’t planning to release anything before the Steam / Mac App Store launch, but we had to implement some last-minute changes, and so, Eterspire 59.0 is here!

This is mostly a maintenance and stability update.

New Content, Features & Improvements

• A new level 90 map: Mount Magma, a burning volcano full of powerful beasts!
• This week we introduced the Eterspire Content Creators Kit, which includes high-resolution artwork, screenshots, gameplay footage, item sprites, in-game music, and everything you need to create Eterspire content!
• Although this has been live for over a week, we've now officially added a level cap for Extra Levels at level 160+4000, following popular request.
• We've reduced the minimum level required to access server chat to level 3.
• We've lowered the default graphics quality setting on iOS to Mid to better support lower-spec devices. You can always raise it back up in the Settings menu!
• Steam Beta: we've added a button in the Settings menu to toggle between Fullscreen and Windowed mode.

Eterspire Store

• We've renamed the Sakura Blossom katanas, as the previous names weren’t very descriptive and lacked flavor.

Bugfixes

• The cosmetic items from the Sakura Blossom set no longer project real-time shadows.
• Some of the voices and sound effects added in Eterspire 58.0 had incorrect volume levels; we've fixed them.
• Fixed some colliders in the maps introduced in Eterspire 58.0.
• Fixed the positioning of some buggy mobs introduced in Eterspire 58.0.
• Steam Beta: fixed a bug that caused some Eterspire Store prices to display in the wrong currency.

Other Changes

• The Firefly Forest map has been renamed to Firefly Grove to avoid confusion with the Firefly Forest as a broader area.
• A quick reminder: due to the upcoming Steam release for PC and Mac App Store release for macOS on September 15th, we've added additional information to the login menu on how to create Eterspire Credentials for your account, so you can log in cross-platform.

In Other News...

• We're working hard on the finishing touches for the macOS and PC releases (coming to the Mac App Store and Steam, respectively). These versions will launch on September 15th, so make sure to wishlist Eterspire on Steam before then; it would mean a lot to us!
• Again, we know it's been a while since we released content for players who are already at endgame and max level. In the upcoming updates, we'll be focusing on bringing new content to you! We have a lot of great things planned, so please stay tuned!
