New Content, Features & Improvements

• The Fishing Rework is here! Fish like never before with a brand new catch every 5 levels! Unlock specialized fishing tools, find new fishing spots scattered throughout all of Aetera, and claim amazing cosmetic rewards to show your mastery of the skill!
• 10 new fishing tools have been introduced, ranging from beginner nets to heat-resistant rods and drakonic harpoons. New fish and tools are now tied to Aetera's different areas and environments, allowing players to fish in deserts, swamps, volcanic lands, and more!
• Bait is no longer required to fish! Now it's as simple as grabbing your rod and heading to your desired spot!
• Players now earn some combat EXP while fishing, so training your lifeskill no longer means putting your combat progression completely on hold!
• Fish can now be exchanged for a new type of currency: Fish-Sticks! Use them to buy tools, shards, and special cosmetics from vendors across Aetera.
• The Fishing Pier map has received a visual update!
• Introducing the Fishing Guild! This new map is accessible at fishing level 55 for Infinite players. Here you'll find high-level fishing spots and Fish-Stick vendors selling fishing tools and two new special cosmetic sets: the Fisher's Set and the Anglerman's Set. Sail there by talking to Charles at the Fishing Pier!
• The quest "Fishing for Compliments" has been updated to better function as a tutorial for the reworked skill, while also giving fishing EXP as a reward.
• New Quest: "Piranha River Cookout". Eterspire's first quest with a fishing level requirement, set at level 35! A goblin's cookout is about to be canceled, and you're the only one who can help him! Start the quest by talking to Elvis Pelvis in Bogtown.

• Fixed a bug where the Purified Cape was not soulbound and could be traded.
• Fixed a bug that could cause crashing when selecting Chinese or Korean as the game language on first startup.
• Fixed some minor bugs in the quest "Poor Unfortunate Souls".

The Fire Mage's Set has been added to the Eterspire Store!

• Like the recently introduced Majestic Sorcerer Set, this one is also available for direct purchase rather than through a cosmetic lootbox.

Behind the Scenes

• We're not done with new fishing content! We still have some surprises for fishing enthusiasts coming very soon.

• Guilds are still in the works and scheduled for our next update, on June 29th!
• You can check out the features and content planned for the next quarter at eterspire.com/roadmap.
• 150 accounts have been banned for using modded or unofficial clients, which is against the Eterspire Rules.

• Our latest Community Contest has ended and the rewards have been given out! This time around everyone shared their emoji ideas for our official Discord Server (which you should join!) Our moderators (and us) chose five finalists from the 534 entries for the community to vote on! The five finalists, plus some honorary mentions, will be added as emotes for all adventurers to use!
• Stay tuned for another Community Contest later this week! Join our official Discord Server to get notified when it starts. I'm running out of ways to shill this thing.
• Speaking of Discord events, we also hosted a Flash Art Event! Adventurers showcased their speed, and comedy and art skills based on different prompts.
• Lartu, Manu, and Tejo have taken part in a brand new edition of Ask a Dev, which you can read here! Join them to know more about their inspirations, the future of endgame gear and life skills, and... PvP? Remember that we host these monthly on our Discord server!
